Working with Alicia was truly amazing. She encouraged and inspired me to write to my fullest potential. She gave me great writing techniques and guides that I still use today when writing countless college papers. I have no idea what I would’ve done without her! She made me a better writer, and that allowed me to open more doors and opportunities in life.

Alicia asked me to write about topics that I was passionate about. The more creative and unique it was, the better. She stressed the technique of creative writing and how its goal is to express oneself. She told me, once I settled on a topic, to begin writing and writing. She told me not to worry about getting the correct length or using the correct grammar, but to just write and get all my ideas and thoughts out. From there, we began editing, and surely, soon enough an essay was formed. From the start, I did not imagine my essay could be as great as it turned out to be.

Rebecca is an amazing and excellent teacher. She is the best teacher for helping with the college essay and finding the college that is right for you. I could not have done it without her.

Alicia took the time to really read what I wrote, and help me find out what I was actually trying to say. She worked with me to sound sincere and  intelligent. I went from an essay with no clear point or message, to an essay that allowed both my character and my passions to shine through. As a result, I got into five schools, my reach school included.

Alicia was a blessing! I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to help me write and construct my college essay. With her help, I was accepted to five out of the seven colleges I applied to.
